Olavsvern naval base: Nothing will grow together because nothing belongs together
The former military construction has now been taken over by 14 Russia- and Norway-based artists who invites you on a journey into this subterranean world, that only a few people have visited before.
The journey begins at Kurant with a performative welcome. You are then led on to a ship that will take you out to the naval base. On board you will be provided with the information you need about the evening. Inside the mountain, a poetic guide will lead you through the exhibition, where you will experience sound art, concerts, performances and light installations.
The wonderful Insomnia festival will end the night with an opening party at the base campus starting at 22:00.
Also you can enjoy food from a BBQ organized by our friends at Hildr gastrobar.
There will also also be a bar ready to provide you with drinks through the night. Cash and creditcard accepted.
Bus transport back to Tromsø at 22:00 and 03:30.
The exhibition will also be open on September 6, 12 and 13.
If you dont want to miss the live happenings, make sure to buy a ticket for the opening!
