Let us welcome you in from the cold: into our containers, out in the square. Can you relate to these otherly objects which invisibly impact our global infrastructures? In a time of noise and noisiness - at intervals throughout TIFF - come in to transport yourself from the everyday loud to the comfort of a daydream. Through a programme of artists’ moving image and instances (which are something like escapism only less considered), we invite you to take a moment to pop your feet up.
This project is a collaboration between Curator Becca Clark and the team at Kurant. consisting of Humle Rosenkvist, Ruth Aitken, and Robert Julian B. Hvistendahl.
Becca Clark is an interested thinker maker do-er with a strong DIY ethic, based in Dundee, Scotland and studied Time Based Art and Digital Film at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (2012). Previously she has worked with ATLAS Arts, Dundee Contemporary Arts and others on film presentation in various forms.
She is the producer of Ickle Film Fest, a micro film festival which brings short film from across the globe to Dundee - giving a platform to new filmmakers to share their work and experience festival presentation.
“I love learning and wish I was handy to have in a pub quiz.”
